Why The Name?
Verreys was a renowned restaurant in Regents Street, London which opened in the 1850s and was a favourite haunt of Charles Dickens, one Broadstairs' most famous former residents.
Verreys is owned and run by Phil and Debra Earl who both gave up their day jobs to live by the sea and serve Verreys Good Food to locals and tourists.
We source our meat products locally, the sausages are from Hazell Butchers just across the High Street. They also make our gluten free sausages!
We have worked very hard to source the best vegan products, such as vegan bacon, sausages and even black pudding!
From time to time we hold evening events at the café, such as our Dirty Diner evening where everything has a vegan and meat option, from German Hot Dogs to handmade patties and fried chicken.
We will also be hosting various pop ups, so please join us on Facebook at facebook.com/verreysbroadstairs.
